Implementing a District Health Plan

This two days practical skills workshop wills focus on: detailed and practical assessment of current district health challenges financial implications of the district health plan human resources implications of the district health plan at Primary Health Care (PHC) level.
District and Provincial Health departments are under increasing pressure to produce strategic and
operational plans. These are often completed for the sake of it, but have no impact on delivery of
health services. The purpose of this workshop is to help officials in a very practical way to turn these
requirements into a real support for the planning and reshaping of health provision services.
